Uzbek and South Korean designers show their collections in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An Uzbek-Korean fashion show was held in Tashkent on 27 September, which was organized as part of the Korean Festival 2017.

The show was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan and Uzbekyengilsanoat (Uzbek Light Industry).

Korea Festival 2017 is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea and the 80th anniversary of the residing of Koreans in Uzbekistan.

A group of young designers from Uzbekistan and South Korea presented their work. Designers as Shakhnoza Gulyamova, Dilnoza Umirzakova, Ashur Ali Sophia, Im Hong, Yun Chon-hi and other presented their collection..

It should be noted that an exhibition of Korean artists was opened within the framework of the Korea Festival Festival in Tashkent on 26 September. Within the framework of the festival, there will also be a Korean film festival, a culinary contest of Korean cuisine, and a BIBAP musical show.

Korea Festival will also be held in Namangan from 4 to 6 October and Andijan from 5 to 7 October. Residents and guests of Namangan and Andijan will be able to watch Korean films and take part in a drawing competition for schoolchildren.
